I conceived and recorded this album, Audio CD 8, in January and February of 2009. It's mostly acoustic, low-fi tracks played on my Yamaha FG-180, which was tuned incredibly low. As a result, the acoustic tracks have an interesting slack sound to them. I'd like to think this album is vastly superior to my last one, but that wouldn't be really saying much since my last one was not so great. Also, it has some Mother 3 covers on it. Enjoy, or don't.

.Echo of Naming: Upbeat acoustic version of the naming music of Mother 3. Includes banjo, bodhrán, and shaker.
.Bolt Action: Ominous sounding fingerpicking song. This was probably the lowest my guitar was tuned during this span, and you can especially here the bass strings hitting the fretboard as they come down, adding the tone of the song. A little sloppy at times, but anyone who knows me knows I'm too lazy to rerecord stuff. Oh well. Still decent enough.
.Unmachinable Slink: Not an acoustic song. Sounds kind of like a U2 song in retrospect.. which is strange because I don't really like U2. Huh. Includes piano.
.Dregs: This is the only song I bothered to muster up some lyrics for. As much as I hate the sound of my own voice, I still like this song because I love the chord progression.
.Factory: Always need one song where I just try to break strings. I threw up later, but it was unrelated.
.Shattered Reality: This song is a bit strange and really don't even remember recording it. It was recorded on the First Note electric guitar and it has a spacey feel to it.
.Slack Shell: Loose interpretation of the "Pink Shell" music from Mother 3. I really like this one for some reason. Playing is also a bit loose.
.Ruined Floodgate: Fast-paced acoustic song with bodhrán rhythm backing it up. Kind of like running.
.Degeneracy: Really lo-fi acoustic song with a melancholy feel to it. Another one I actually like.
.Stridulating: Another non-acoustic played on the First Note. Has weird bell-tolling. I suppose you shouldn't ask whom for (because it's for thee). The name says it all, really.
.Acoustic Pork: Freewheeling interpretation of the Pigmask theme from Mother 3. A little sloppy in the middle but not a bad tune.
.Dysthymia: Kind of a rock and roll, bluesy electric guitar number. Features banjo and organ also and a nice drum loop courtesy of GarageBand.
.Sunflowers: Kind of like being happy and sad at the same time. This acoustic song is sort of slow and wandering but I like how it turned out.
.Ghost: Sort of unhappy sounding acoustic diddy. This song actually has a structure to it at times.
.Nightingale: Probably my favorite song on the album. Nostalgic lo-fi acoustic song. I bust out the slide for this one too.
